Flossing 101
Along with proper brushing, flossing every day is another great way to remove decay-causing plaque.
Your toothbrush can’t reach many of the spaces between your teeth. Over time, bacteria and plaque will build up in these spaces, which in turn may lead to gum disease, cavities, and more serious dental complications in the future.
When’s the last time you left dirt under your fingernails for a day? A week? A month? A year? Now imagine leaving “dirt” between your teeth. This is why flossing is such an important part of your daily cleaning routine.
